Fritch is a small Texas Panhandle town of 2,300 people on Lake Meredith's shores, 35 miles northeast of Amarillo via US 287 and Highway 136. The town serves as the main access point to Lake Meredith National Recreation Area, one of the region's few large lakes. Its full-service marina offers boat rentals and launches for walleye, bass, and catfish fishing.
