Fredonia is a tiny Prairie County community of 135 people in Arkansas's flat Delta region. Highway 70 runs right through town, connecting west to Des Arc and east toward Brinkley, with Interstate 40 access through Des Arc for trips to Little Rock or Memphis. The Cache River flows nearby through ancient bottomland forests containing thousand-year-old bald cypress trees.
