Frazee sits along US Highway 10 in west-central Minnesota, about 20 miles from Detroit Lakes. This small farming community of 1,647 people serves travelers on the busy Minneapolis-to-Fargo corridor. State Highway 87 connects north to Park Rapids and south to Perham for local trips. The town hosts the annual Turkey Days festival each July, featuring what's billed as the world's largest turkey barbecue.
