Fraser is a Detroit suburb in Macomb County, about 20 miles northeast of downtown via I-696. Major routes include I-696 for east-west travel and Gratiot Avenue (M-3) running north-south through town. Most visitors arrive from I-94 or local roads like Groesbeck Highway. The city features one of Michigan's largest municipal rose gardens with over 4,000 bushes.
