Franklin is a small Delaware County village of 424 people in south-central New York's farm country. Take I-88 to Exit 9, then Route 357 south about 8 miles through rolling hills and dairy farms. Popular routes include the quick hop north to I-88 for Oneonta or Binghamton connections, and the scenic drive south along the Susquehanna River valley. The village features one of Delaware County's last working covered bridges from the 1800s.
