Frankfort is a tiny farming town of 128 people in central South Dakota, reached mainly via US Highway 212 which runs right through it. Most visitors come from Aberdeen, 45 miles northeast, or are passing through on cross-state trips. The town's grain elevator dominates the skyline and serves as both a landmark and symbol of the area's agricultural roots.
