Frankfort is a small Ohio town of 1,200 people in Ross County, about 45 miles south of Columbus. US Route 50 runs right through town, connecting it west to Chillicothe and east toward Athens. State Route 28 provides the main north-south link. The restored 1890s railroad depot, now a community center, anchors the downtown area and recalls the town's agricultural shipping heritage.
