Foyil is a tiny Rogers County town about 20 miles northeast of Tulsa on Highway 66. Take I-44 to Exit 255, then follow Highway 66 east through Claremore. Most traffic comes from Tulsa or passes through on longer trips to Missouri. The town sits in rolling prairie where the Ozarks begin, with typical Oklahoma continental weather. It's famous for having the world's largest totem pole, an 80-foot concrete monument built in the 1930s.
