Foxburg is a tiny river town in northwestern Pennsylvania, about an hour northeast of Pittsburgh via I-79 and Route 8. The scenic drive follows the Allegheny River valley through rolling countryside. Route 8 is the main corridor connecting Foxburg to Butler and Oil City. The town is home to America's oldest golf course in continuous use at the same location, dating to 1887.
