Fox Chase is a small Berks County community about 10 miles southwest of Reading, accessible via Route 422 west from Philadelphia or connecting roads from the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Popular routes include daily commutes to Reading and longer trips to the Philadelphia area. The town's volunteer fire company still operates from its original 1950s brick firehouse on the main road.
