Fowlerville is a small city in southeastern Michigan, about an hour northwest of Detroit via I-96. Exit 129 connects directly to the town center on Grand River Avenue. The area serves as a rural bedroom community with rolling farmland, and locals commute to nearby Howell or larger regional cities. The town's claim to fame is hosting Michigan's largest amateur horse show during its annual summer fair, which has run since 1924.
