Fowler is a Central Valley farming town 15 miles southeast of Fresno on Highway 99. Take 99 south from Fresno for about 20 minutes, or use State Route 180 for east-west connections to the Sierra foothills. The city sits among vineyards and orchards in flat agricultural land. Fowler calls itself the "Raisin Capital of the World" and is home to the Sun-Maid raisin processing plant.
