Four Oaks is a small Johnston County town about 30 miles southeast of Raleigh, accessible via US 301 from I-95 or US 70 from the Triangle area. The town sits in gently rolling Piedmont terrain and serves as a convenient stop for I-95 travelers. Johnston Regional Airport is located just northwest of town. Four Oaks gets its name from four large oak trees that once marked the central crossroads where early settlers gathered to trade.
