Foster is a small farming town of about 250 people in south-central Oklahoma, 30 miles south of Norman via Highway 74. The community sits in rolling prairie country with wheat fields and cattle pastures. Most visitors arrive from Oklahoma City by taking I-35 south to Highway 9 west, then Highway 74 south. The town's historic one-room schoolhouse still stands from the early 1900s.
