Fosston is a farming town of 1,374 people in northwestern Minnesota, 30 miles from the North Dakota border. Highway 2 runs east-west through town, connecting to Grand Forks (45 miles) and Bemidji (50 miles), while Highway 220 heads south to Crookston. The annual Corn and Soybean Festival each August celebrates the local agricultural heritage.
