Fort Wayne, Indiana's second-largest city, sits at the junction of Interstates 69 and 469 in the northeast corner of the state. I-69 connects directly to Indianapolis (120 miles south) and Michigan, while US-30 runs east-west through the city toward Chicago and Ohio. The airport is 12 miles southwest via I-69. Fort Wayne houses the world's second-largest genealogy research center at its public library.
