Fort Meade is a military community in central Maryland, about 20 miles from both Baltimore and D.C. The massive Army base houses the NSA and U.S. Cyber Command. Access comes via I-95, the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, and Routes 32 and 175, with BWI Airport just 10 miles away. The main gate on Reece Road processes over 40,000 vehicles daily, making it one of America's busiest military checkpoints.
