Fort Drum is a military community in northern New York, built around the massive Army installation that's home to the 10th Mountain Division. Located about 10 miles east of Watertown near the Canadian border, it's accessible via Interstate 81 and State Route 3. The installation spans over 107,000 acres, making it one of the largest military bases in the northeastern United States.
