Fort Coffee, OK

Fort Coffee is a small Arkansas River valley town in eastern Oklahoma, about 15 miles west of Fort Smith via Highway 9. This Le Flore County community of 292 sits where wooded hills meet river bottomland. Highway 112 intersects Highway 9 in town, connecting to rural areas and eventually Interstate 40. Fort Smith Regional Airport is roughly 20 miles east. The town is named for a Civil War fort that once guarded river traffic.
