Fort Cobb is a small farming town in southwestern Oklahoma, about an hour from Oklahoma City via I-40 west to Highway 62. The main routes are US 62 running east-west through town and Highway 146 north to Anadarko. Most visitors come for Fort Cobb Lake just south of town, a popular fishing and camping spot created by damming Pond Creek in the 1950s.
