Forreston is a farming town in northern Illinois, 90 miles northwest of Chicago via I-90 and Route 64. The main road through town is Route 64, connecting east to Rochelle and west toward the Mississippi River. Most visitors come from Rockford or the Chicago area, while daily traffic involves local agricultural trips. Albertus Airport operates a grass runway just outside town for small aircraft and crop dusting.
