Forks sits deep in Olympic Peninsula rainforest country, famous as the Twilight vampire books setting. US Highway 101 is your only real option, winding 57 miles west from Port Angeles or looping up from Aberdeen. It's a four-hour drive from Seattle through some of the wettest forests in America. The town of 3,400 still has Twilight tour buses rolling down its main street.
