Forest City is a small Iowa town along US 69, about 8 miles north of I-35. It's the county seat and home to Winnebago Industries, the RV manufacturer. Highway 9 runs east-west through town to Mason City, while Highway 69 connects north to Minnesota and south to Des Moines. The massive Winnebago factory on the south side produces the iconic motorhomes that made this prairie town famous.
