Fordville is a farming town of about 200 people in northeastern North Dakota, 15 miles from Grafton on Highway 17. Most visitors come from Grand Forks (45 miles southeast) or connect via Highway 32 from Devils Lake. The area features typical Red River Valley prairie with continental climate extremes. The town's towering grain elevator serves as a landmark visible for miles across the flat farmland.
