Fordland is a small farming town in Webster County, about 25 miles northeast of Springfield via Highway 60 and Highway 38. The area features rolling Ozark hills with cattle ranches and crop fields. Most traffic comes from Springfield commuters or travelers connecting to Interstate 44 near Marshfield. The town's restored 1920s grain elevator remains a working landmark visible from the main highway.
