Ford is a tiny farming town in southwestern Kansas, sitting along US Highway 400 about 15 miles from Dodge City. Most visitors pass through on Highway 400 while crossing the state or accessing Dodge City Regional Airport. The town features one of Kansas's last wooden grain elevators from the early 1900s, still standing tall against the endless prairie horizon.
