Floris is a tiny farming community of 128 people in southeastern Iowa's Davis County. Highway 2 runs east-west through town, connecting to Bloomfield (8 miles west) and Fairfield (20 miles northeast). Most traffic comes from these nearby towns or via County Road J40 from Pulaski. The century-old Floris General Store on Main Street is famous for its locally made pork tenderloin sandwiches.
