Flippin is a small Ozark Mountain town of 1,300 people along the White River, known for world-class trout fishing. Highway 5 connects it north-south to Mountain Home (15 miles) and Little Rock (150 miles), while Highway 178 runs east-west toward Harrison. The town serves as a gateway to Buffalo National River and features Marion County Regional Airport right outside town. The post office displays a historic mural showing Flippin's railroad depot heritage.
