Fleming is a tiny farming community in northwestern Missouri's Ray County, reachable via Highway 10 from either Orrick or Richmond. The restored 1920s grain elevator still operates during harvest and serves as the town's most recognizable landmark, visible for miles along the highway through the surrounding prairie farmland.
