Fincastle is a small Jefferson County community southeast of Louisville, home to about 700 residents. Take I-264 east from downtown Louisville or I-65 north to the Watterson Expressway to reach the area. Louisville's main airport sits 15 miles southwest. Despite urban growth, Fincastle keeps its own post office.
