Fillmore is a small farming town in Ventura County, about an hour from LA via Highway 126 through citrus country. The scenic route connects Ventura to the San Fernando Valley, passing orange groves and the Topatopa Mountains. Most visitors come for the weekend train rides on California's last operating narrow-gauge railroad, which runs vintage 1920s passenger cars through the countryside.
