Fieldon is a riverside village of 200 people along Illinois Route 100, about 40 miles north of St. Louis. The scenic Great River Road winds through town, connecting it to other Mississippi River communities like Grafton and Alton. Most visitors arrive via I-270 and Route 367 from St. Louis, though the winding river road requires careful winter driving. The historic limestone Fieldon Bank building still anchors the small downtown area.
