Ferriday is a small Louisiana town of about 3,100 people sitting right across the Mississippi River from Natchez, Mississippi. You'll reach it via US Highway 84, which crosses the river on the John James Audubon Bridge. Most visitors come from Alexandria (75 miles west) or Monroe (85 miles north), while locals frequently cross the bridge for work in Natchez. The town is famous as Jerry Lee Lewis's birthplace.
