Felsenthal is a tiny Arkansas community of 40 people surrounded by the massive Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge. Reach it via US Highway 167 from El Dorado (15 miles south) or Camden (35 miles north), with State Highway 15 providing east-west connections. The 65,000-acre refuge protects some of Arkansas's last bottomland hardwood forests and serves as a major waterfowl stopover.
