Fayetteville is a small village east of Syracuse, connected by Route 5 and close to I-481 for regional travel. The historic community of 4,200 sits in the scenic Tully Valley along Limestone Creek. Syracuse Hancock International Airport is about 15 miles northwest. The village's old limestone quarries once provided stone for Erie Canal construction projects.
