Farmland is a small farming town in eastern Indiana, about an hour northeast of Indianapolis via I-70 and State Road 1. The community of 1,276 people sits among corn and soybean fields in Randolph County. Most visitors arrive on State Road 1, which runs north-south through downtown and connects to Winchester and Portland. The town's water tower features a distinctive red barn design that's visible from the main highway.
