Farm Loop is a small Alaskan community along the Parks Highway, about 45 miles north of Anchorage in the Susitna Valley. Most visitors arrive via Alaska Route 3, either from Anchorage or as a stop on the drive to Denali and Fairbanks. The area experiences typical Alaskan winters with heavy snow from October to April, plus long summer days. The town gets its name from the original farm loop road that connected early homesteads.
