Farley is a small farming town in eastern Iowa, about 15 miles northwest of Dubuque via Highway 136. Most visitors arrive from US Highway 20, which crosses northern Iowa and connects to Highway 136 for the final stretch. The drive from Dubuque takes 25 minutes through rolling farmland typical of the Driftless Area. A restored 1920s grain elevator stands as a visible landmark along Highway 136.
