Fargo sits where I-94 and I-29 intersect in eastern North Dakota, right across the Red River from Minnesota. The city connects Minneapolis (240 miles southeast) with western North Dakota via I-94, while I-29 links it to Grand Forks and Sioux Falls. Hector International Airport is 4 miles northwest of downtown. The wood chipper from the movie "Fargo" is on display at the visitors center.
