Fall River is a tiny Kansas town of 148 people along US Highway 96 in Greenwood County. It's about 25 miles east of Eureka and 30 miles west of Fredonia, sitting in rolling prairie between the Flint Hills and farmland. The community has kept its post office running since 1879, one of the county's longest-operating postal facilities.
