Falconer is a small city of 2,100 in western New York's Chautauqua County, about 10 miles southeast of Jamestown via Route 394. Take I-86 to Exit 13, then Route 394 south. The area gets heavy lake-effect snow from Lake Erie but enjoys mild summers. Most visitors are locals commuting to Jamestown, though some long-distance travelers use it as a stop between Buffalo and Pennsylvania. The historic Erie Railroad depot still stands downtown.
