Fairview is a small city of about 10,700 people located 20 miles east of Portland along Interstate 84 and the Columbia River. Most visitors arrive via I-84 from either Portland or the Columbia River Gorge, with Highway 14 providing a scenic alternative route along the Washington border. The city is notable for having one of Oregon's highest concentrations of manufactured housing, with nearly half of all homes being mobile homes or RVs.
