Fairchild is a farming town of 400 people in west-central Wisconsin, about 25 miles from Eau Claire via Highway 12. Highway 95 runs north-south through town, with I-94 providing long-distance access 30 miles south. The massive grain elevator complex dominates the skyline and serves as the town's economic center.
