Fair Oaks is a tiny Rogers County community of 88 people about 20 miles northeast of Tulsa. Take Highway 169 north to Owasso, then head east on local roads to reach this quiet rural settlement. Most residents commute to Tulsa-area jobs along these same routes. The community still operates its original small post office, which doubles as an informal local meeting spot.
