Fair Lakes is a northern Virginia community located along I-66, about 25 miles west of D.C. Most visitors use I-66 or Route 50 to reach the area, with the Fairfax County Parkway providing north-south access. Dulles Airport sits 15 miles northwest. The community was built around an artificial lake created in the 1980s, which still features a working fountain at its center.
