Fair Haven is a small lakeside village on Lake Ontario's shore, about 30 miles northwest of Syracuse. Take Route 104A north from NY Route 104 to reach this community of 1,000 residents. The village sits where Little Sodus Bay meets the lake, creating a natural harbor. Popular routes include I-690 west from Syracuse to Route 104, then north on 104A, or Route 104 east from Rochester through Wayne County. Fair Haven Beach State Park features one of the few lighthouses you can drive to along New York's Lake Ontario coast.
