Fair Grove is a small Greene County city about 20 miles northeast of Springfield via Highway 125. Take I-44 to the Strafford exit, then head north for a 25-minute drive through Ozark farmland. The town of 1,700 sits in rolling hills where prairie meets woodland. Springfield-Branson Airport is 30 miles southwest. Fair Grove runs its own municipal electric utility, operating since 1936.
