Exeter is a Central Valley farm town 45 miles southeast of Fresno on Highway 65, serving as the gateway to Sequoia National Park. Highway 65 runs right through downtown, connecting north to Highway 99 and continuing east into the Sierra Nevada as the Generals Highway. Most visitors arrive via Highway 99 from major cities, while locals make short trips to nearby Visalia.
