Everman is a small city of about 6,100 people in southern Tarrant County, roughly 15 miles south of Fort Worth via Interstate 35W. The city sits at the intersection of I-35W and Highway 174, making it a convenient stop for travelers heading through central Texas or commuting to the Fort Worth area. It's also near the former Carswell Air Force Base, now NAS Fort Worth JRB. Despite its small size, Everman runs one of Tarrant County's smallest independent school districts.
