Evergreen is a tiny Ozark foothills community of 88 people in Laclede County, reached via Missouri Route 32 from Springfield (45 miles northeast) or the Lake of the Ozarks area. The town sits along a rural stretch of Route 32 that connects Springfield to the western Ozarks, with EV charging available in nearby Lebanon. Its post office has operated continuously since 1895.
